Ah noooo. It was one of the usual''mistakes''sorry, we did a mistake, the usual excuse.
We all know how much spread are the fires of war everywhere for interests.
Victims, and ancient civilisations such as Babylonia have been abused, lost, for nothing.
Lands, properties, and always the victim who has to pay is the innocent people.
A planned civil war, facilitates the invasions and opens the way when the country is weak, and the people deprived of essential things.
But also in ancient history, or during revo;lutions of countries there were always those who were spreading the hatred and the ennemies were finding the chance to take advantage of situations.
Nowdays, it happens in a more elegant way..''for our own benefit''.
The result the same, the strategy changes

There was no civil war in Iraq. Al Queda in Iraq tried to ferment one by blowing up the Golden Mosque and killing a lot of Shite Muslims but the U.S. military along with the Iraq government kept the lid on it preventing all-out civil war. True there were a lot of sectarian killings but nothing close to the devastation a civil war would have caused, especially to the Sunnis. The "Iraq civil war" was largely an invention of the American press.

It was planned in the first Bush administration, that of the 41st president, because the same leadership was in power then as it was in the current administration--Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the like. It's also noted that the current Bush administration had invasion plans drawn up beginning with the first day of the administration. It just got out of hand, as most US war ventures do from time to time, especially when it comes to getting involved in internal civil wars of other nations.
