he is my co worker and he helps me a lot, he is nice. I am new here and immigrant. So i do not know if guys in this country are nice just for being friends. So how do I know if he likes me. But sometimes he is like funny and then sometimes he is serious and avoided me not look into my eye. we had this conversation once in the lunch room and there is like a gap in our conversation. I don't know which country you have immigrated to... but if it is Australia then I can confidently say that yes guys in this country are very nice and very helpful (when they want to be LOL)
I think it will be obvious to you if he likes you cos he will ask you out to dinner or a movie.

My advice, turn your head off and go by how you feel. Do you get that warm excited feeling when you're around him? Do you feel sexy around him? Do you enjoy your time with him? This is all you need to know. Culture is irrelevant here.

probably he does. reason? the pause. he wouldn't probably have done that otherwise. I mean, it happens, but usually if you aren't scared of making yourself look stupid, awkward pauses don't happen.
