You raise some mighty interesting issues.
Simple answer, from Christian standpoint, Jesus is both God and Man. Mary is the mother of Jesus as a man. God the Holy Spirit is the Father of Jesus as a Man. God the Father is One with the Holy Spirit and Jesus. (One and only One God, 3 persons.) Sound a little crazy, well yes. You were not meant to understand it. God is infinitely smarter than mankind and we will never fully understand Him, not even throughout eternity.
But never fear, He loves you, very very very much.
I Cr 13;8a

God is not a man. 1 Corinthians 15:50 shows flesh and blood cannot exist in heaven.
Yes those angels did transform into men and had giants as offspring. But, God does things correctly. It was necessary for Jesus to have 2 things. A parent in the line of David with a step-father also in David's lineage. And two, a perfect parent. Since no human could qualify, God was the other parent. We have doctors fertilizing eggs and implanting it in someone as a surrogate who may not know either parent. Why should we be astounded our Creator knew how before us?

God is not a man. Jesus is a man, who is also God. I know it sounds complecated.
The best way I ever heard it described was this... God the Father is God in Heaven. The Holy Spirit is God on Earth. Jesus, the Son of God (also called The Son of man) is a man who is also God. He bridges heaven and earth. If you are not a Christian, this may still be too complicated for you.
It is not easy to explain on Yahoo! Answers, especially to someone who is not of the same faith. This would make more sense if explained in person, where a dialog can exist and questions can be asked. By any account, God is not human. God is God.
And where is this supposed passage that the sons of God were having sex and producing giants? Are you referring to Genesis 6?
God has one son. His name is Jesus. Most Christians do not believe that jesus ever got married and had childrn (although there are some who speculate that he did marry Mary Magdelene... this is a debate for another time and place.) He was born many generations AFTER the flood. You have obviously not studied your Bible very well.
The "sons of God" mentioned in Genesis 6:4 does not refer to literal children of God. It refers to followers of God.
The passage is referring to men choosing their own wives from the available women, rather than having God choose a wife for them. Men were focusing on matters of the fleash, rather than matters of the Spirit.
According to the footnotes in my Bible, scholars tend to think that the "sons of God" mentioned here is either a reference to kings, a reference to the decendents of Seth, or a reference to angels who rebelled and lived on earth, inter-marrying with humans.
Regardless of which interpretation you choose, the passage does not refer to literal children God had by having sex with people. God is not a human being. God created human beings.

God is also a woman.
Genesis 1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Feminist theologian Sallie McFague wrote at length about this, that gender description of God are entirely metaphorical and feminine metaphors are there but are less commonly acknowledged because of Christianity's patriarchal roots. (See her books Metaphorical Theology or Models of God for the full argument.)
Additionally, anywhere in the Bible that talks about Wisdom as a separate concept it means Sophia, a feminine virtue that represents the goddess aspect of God and Jesus, often lumped into the gender-neutral Holy Spirit.
This is a result of coopting the polytheistic competition of the cult of Yahweh that existed among the Jews before the 600s BC. Which is a consistent practice across cultures where a dominating shepherding, conquering society like the Hebrews takes over a docile agrarian/trading society like the peoples of Palestine. For example, when the Mycenaeans conquered Crete they revised both mythologies so that their primary deity, the god Zeus, gives birth from his mind to their primary deity, the goddess Athena - thus the sacred feminine is subsubed by patriarchy. But this is never inherent to the religion, it is the cultures that practice and shape the religion, and those effects can be undone by merely looking at it through a non-patriarchal lens.
God is woman, hear her roar.

I am an LDS member, Mormon. We believe that God was once a man...at some point eons ago. And that He gained godhood, progressed and eventually had spirit children: US!
(We must also assume that God has a wife, since He has children.)
The "sons of god" thing... I think that just means they were righteous men at one point.
We also believe that we can become LIKE God, progress and eventually, some will become gods. Never above our Heavenly Father or even equal to Him, but like Him.

God, the Father, is the Alpha & Omega.
God, the Son, is fully man and fully God.
God, the Holy Spirit, is an ever present spirit that is available to all whom God choices.
Mary, mother of Jesus, willing told the Angle Gabriel, "Let it be done onto me His Will (God's will)". Her free will to accept the position as Mother of God allowed the Holy Spirit to bring life (God's life) into her immaculate womb without physical sex as we can describe it.

Mary was conceived by the Holy Spirit, not God, according to Christianity.
Oh, but wait, I thought the Holy Spirit WAS God, right? 3 in 1 but yet ONE?
So in other words, yet another part of God got up, separated itself from Him, and went around boinking women like any old human male.
That's in addition to yet ANOTHER part of God that got up, separated itself, walked around on the earth for 33 years, pooped, ate, cursed at fig trees for not producing fruit when it wasn't even in season, told people to hate their mother and father, told people to leave their dead laying where they fell, told men to follow him and leave their families behind with no way for the wife to remarry and no provider for their children so that they become beggars, and generally did a lot of Cris Angel type "miracles" to wow people into believing he was the Messiah. Oh, and failed to actually fulfill any of the actual prophecies the Jews have. And then being a bloody human virgin sacrifice for sin (again a totally ancient pagan practice, not found in Judaism for the role of the Messiah).
Well, these parts of God sure do get around, don't they. And have their fun while they're at it too, running around impregnating women.
Of course Christians believe God is a man. And that a man is God. That's why Christianity is idolatry. "Wholly human and wholly God at the same time". Nope, sorry, that's idolatry.
But let them believe what they like. If they start up (again) going round the world murdering people who don't believe it, time to put a stop to it though.

God "invaded" earth as a man. Yes. God became a man.
Jesus is fully man, fully God.
His spirit is that of the Holy Spirit of God, and his soul is that of the 2nd person of the Trinity.
Furthermore, God caused Mary's seed to start growing miraculously without the aid of a man, thus making Jesus the Son of God, as well.
Those "sons of god" were fallen angels (demons?)

No God is not a man. He is a spirit creature in Heaven. Jesus was God's firstborn only begotten son. This means that he was the only one of God's creations to be created by God alone. All other creation was done through Jesus. Jesus heavenly name is Michael. Jesus or Michael's life force was transferred from the Heavens into Mary's womb so that he could be born without sin. In other words, not from man.

Mary did not become pregnant through intercourse with God. Rather she simply served as a "surrogate" for Jesus. God implanted her with the embryo of Jesus.
The reference in Genesis is usually interpreted to mean angels. You will find a reference in 2 Peter to those angels who want after "strange flesh" (meaning human women) being held in chains since the days of Noah.
