Can a dog die due to severe stomach ulcer?

Like in people, stress plays a big part in ulcers in dogs.
Anti-inflammitory drugs can cause ulcers, aspirin etc.
Salt can also irritate and increase their risk of developing ulcers..
A dog could die due to severe stomach ulcers, if you don't get him treated properly.

They are made worse in humans by stress so why not in dogs. Vet needs to give Omeprazole and Sucralfate. You need to to find an less irritable diet for your dog.

Yes the dog can bleed to death without treatment. You need to take the dog to the vet then follow the advice of that vet.

Well, bacteria cause them in humans, and can be treated with antibiotics, so I assume the same applies to dogs.
