We read in God's Holy Law book the Bible:

Be born a Christian, be born a Jew, be born a Muslim, be born a Buddhist, be born a Hindostan ect. you must be born again, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. See John 1:13
The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.

There was a great Broadway play called "Inherit the Wind" that was also made into a wonderful movie. See if you can find the movie and watch it. It is a parallel or the Scopes Monkey trial.
It will answer all your questions far better than I can here.
There are so many holes in the Bible (this movie shows them) but even before I saw the movie, I said to myself, "this is all a crock!"
When I was 13, I realized that in order to be a believer, one has to turn off all concepts of reality.
If you buy into the first fabrication, then you should be able to buy into all the others and when you do, then you're hooked. You're 'under the ether'.
I was never able to do that. I could not suspend reality to
let myself be controlled and manipulated by modern mythology. Just can't do that. I respect my intellect too much.
If your video store doesn't have Inherit the Wind, check
your library. You will find the movie very entertaining.

Amen, I too believe that an all loving, faithful, caring, powerful God is there for me 24/7. I too have had many prayers answered, that is not to say I haven't gone through some valleys, but He helped me through them and then the reward for staying faithful was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of, over and over again. God is Good All the Time!!!

I believe there is Valhalla. Or Hel.
Hel is not a bad place. It is very similar (and predates) heaven.
There are places there for the truly evil in hel.
I beleive it becuse in the world and in what is real I dont see the "evil of satan". I see potential. for all living things. I feel the after life is the same. (with modification) the good and strong have a place that they can prosper on, and the bad and evil are left in the cold. also I lke being able to say "we are all going to the same place..and it will be wounderful." except those going to Valhalla. Thats essentially a great big wounderous place. It's hard to relate it to you.

The kingdom of God is within you. -Luke 17:21.
You just have to find it within yourself.
It's easy to do, and this qualifies you for an afterlife, if you act in accordance to the Holy Spirit.

I don't beleive that there is anything waiting for me when I die. Yeah, the thought of living forever is cool, but at the end of the day, I don't think that is what is going to happen. I think that when my life is over, I will cease to exist. I plan to have a wonderful life though until that time.

It is the lack of evidence that leaves me without belief in any gods.
Evidence does show that we require a brain to function, it seems that unless there is an alternate explanation that has evidence that there is no after life.
With the above said, it is not out of enjoyment that I lack belief in either.
