It's possible. We know God the Father did not sire Jesus. Jesus, as well as the Holy Spirit, always existed in the Godhead. Jesus on earth revealed to man, in flesh and blood, the attributes and character traits of the Father.
Joh 14:7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you do know Him, and have seen Him.
Joh 14:8 And Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.
Joh 14:9 Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?
Joh 14:10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The Words which I speak to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father who abides in Me, He does the works.

Yes, I believe that Jesus is God's "actual" son.
If God really is a trinity... and it means eternal life for us to know Him (John 17:3)... then why would the Bible speak of God in terms of a relationship between a father and his son? If they both always existed and are co-equal, then why would the Bible confusingly and constantly title one of them "the Son" thereby calling to mind that one as being the younger, less experienced, teachable, submissive being of the two?
Further illustrating the Bible's use of the term "son of God", Adam and the angels were called that too:
Luke 3:38, "...Adam, the son of God." NASB
Adam and Jesus shared the same designation. The word "son" principally is regarded as "offspring" and indeed in Genesis we read that Adam was produced by God.
The angels in heaven are also called "sons of God":
Job 38:4 "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?... (7) When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?" NASB
They all share the same designation as Jesus, yet God PRODUCED them and called them His sons long ago.
What immediately comes to mind when thinking about any father and his son? Is it commonly regarded as them being co-equal and the same person? No!
So if there really was a trinity, then why would anyone describe God in such a way? Though the following is still a vastly imperfect example, comparing the unity of God to the oneness in thought that a husband shares with his wife would be a much closer description than that of a father and son.
Mt. 19:5, "...and said, `For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH'" (NASB)
Yet the Bible describes Jesus and Jehovah's relationship as a Father and Son. The Father is always found to be called "God", but the phrase "God the Son" is never found. That is because the Son is NOT God. He even said so. The Son called someone other than himself "the only true God". That someone else was the Father. (John 17:1-3)

No I dont believe that.
The Bible teaches that Jehovah God has always existed.
The Bible also teaches that Jesus Christ was created. That he was the first born of all creation.
The Bible also calls the angels 'sons of God'
If you have read the Bible maybe you need someone to help you understand what you have read.Clearly the Bible does not teach that Jesus is God the Son.The Bible clearly shows that Jehovah is Almighty God.Jesus is the Son of God,yes literally!

Yes, Jesus is God's son. There is no Trinity. It is not a Bible teaching. Jesus is an individual, the firstborn of all creation. He came to earth to die as a human so that mankind may have the opportunity to live forever in perfection, something that was lost for us by Adam and Eve when they rebelled.

Let's do a little Occam's Razor here.
When Christ was on the cross he asked...
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Did he forsake himself? Was he talking to himself? Of course not.
Also...
Matt. 3: 17
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
God the Father and God the Son are CLEARLY two separate personages. The Holy Ghost (spirit) are separate from both. All three operate toward the same purpose.
As always, something to think about.
UPDATE: To sceneofdarhyme...
Where are you getting your quotes. Here's what the bible says in Luke 1:32...
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
This is why "modern" translations are confusing and even totally off-base.

Yes, The bible is very clear.
Jesus is God's Firstborn ("oldest" per Harper's Bible Dictionary) of all creation (Col 1:15)
Jesus is the only begotten Son
(only generated Son literal translation of the Greek
or 'only generated god per John 1:18)
Jehovah cannot lie, So when he says 'This is my Son, the beloved' we can believe him.
When Jesus who is the image of God says, "I am God's Son" we can believe him. (2 Cor 4:4; Heb 1:3; Col 1:15)
When John, Peter, Paul, and Jesus call God the Father of Jesus, we can believe them also.
(Eph 1:3, 17; Rom 15:5,6; 1 Pet 1:3; Rev 1:6; 3:12)
Jesus is called the 'Beginning of the creation by God'
Accepting what the bible really says, makes it easy to understand what is being said.
It is only when you strive to go beyond or make it say something it doesn't that the confusion and difficulty arise.
edit. -----
Listen to what you wrote:
("Maybe God only states Jesus is His son to help our human minds grasp the love God has for Jesus.")
So God want us to understand how much love God has for himself?
So God died?
So Satan asked God to worship him?
So God had to learn obedience?
None of this makes sense and is not taught in the bible.
edit 2) -------
Does Jehovah have great love for this Firstborn?
Yes,
Does Jesus the Firstborn have great love for his Father?
Yes
Is the terms Father and Son ONLY used for human understanding?
No.
Does it help humans understand the relationship of the Father and his First born?
Yes!

i don't think of there's a Christian "church" that would not have faith in Jesus as being God. yet there are a number of different religions contained in the international, e.g. Islam, Jewish, buddhism to call yet some who do not "understand" Jesus. i'm not non secular, besides the actuality that i replaced into referred to that way, and that i additionally think of there are different ideals contained in the international which i think of are completely O.ok. whether they don't look to be linked to a particular perception. in case you have any doubt, you may study it and make up your guy or woman ideas.

JESUS means: JAHWEH is Salvation. JESUS is JAHWEH God. ... for He shall save His people [His elects] from their sins. see Matthew 1:21
We read in Colossians 1:14-17:In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who [JEZUS} is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.
The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 10:5-7
