What do you think was going through this principal's mind to not have enough time to check into this problem? Aren't these kinds of problems in her job description? I think she needs to be held accountable for something......anyone agree?

Well we only have one side of the story. I would like to know what they actually told the principal. I find it hard to believe if they went up to her and said "There is someone who has a gun", that she would turn them away.
Remember these are teenage kids that we are getting the story from and of course they do no wrong, and exaggerate.

I can't imagine someone telling a principal anywhere that there was going to be a shooting, someone was talking about doing a shooting, or someone had a gun and the Principal would blow them off. Let's give her a benefit of a doubt. Again how reliable is the source of what we are basing our opinions on?

So the kid was suspended and said "I got something for y'all". so what? Put the school on lock down? School officials didn't have clear evidence/signs that something was going to happen. Look at the facts people.

With all the school shooting almost all school districts have a protocol for how to handle this type of situation. I assume that she was following it. Would you have felt better if she had been killed too?

Checking in to the sounds of gun shots in the hallways is the job of the police, not the principal

I agree, something like that you just don't brush off. Yes she should be held accountable to some degree.

Most certainly. I think she should be prosecuted. She should have addressed the problem the second that she was told about it! I hope if nothing else......someone will be whoopin her butt in the unemployment line!
