That's truer than even he knows most likely. You manifest your thoughts more easily after you leave physical form so your first experiences will be what you expect them to be due to that. They'll even out after a bit.

It's a nice thought, and I wish it were true. But I think all we get is, well, nothing.

Which means read all the Terry Pratchett you can while you're alive! It's good stuff. Some of the best, really.
