Actually, when ANY religion makes claims to knowledge it can't possibly prove, I have that reaction...

Instead, your belief "must be the truth." Is it?
Every religion claims to be the one and only path, while damning the rest to so called "hell." The question is, why does this bother you that JW's make the same claim that everyone else does?
Until someone can prove without a doubt that their way is the right way, we'll just have to put up with the guilt trips that the righteous ones place upon us. In the mean time....relax and quit letting stupid things get under your skin.

Jehovah's Witnesses understand the fact approximately Jehovah and his purposes and extra importantly, we are able to be added enlightened. we are saying, "added enlightened," because of the fact Jesus informed his apostles that the holy spirit might at last lead them into "each and all of the fact." The apostles, besides the indisputable fact that, by no skill for my area experienced the main suitable fulfillment of Jesus' promise. contained in the thirteenth financial disaster of a million Corinthians, Paul admitted that at the instant we in common terms have partial expertise. the skill of being guided into each and all of the fact isn't achieved until eventually Jesus Christ arrives to refine and enlighten his genuine followers and show each and all of the indisputable fact that Jehovah has seen in wonderful condition to conceal until eventually the main suitable unveiling--or apocalypse of Christ. So, jointly as we could boast of "being contained in the fact," we could humbly renowned that it extremely is a relative term on the instant 2nd.

Nah, I have learned to ignore all the people who have the "truth". :-) It's amazing that so MANY religions are the one true religion.
Seriously, I just figure that the person must need that belief to get them through the day. It would be unkind to try to take that away from them. OTOH, they don't have the right to push their agenda on anyone else. I've learned to cut people off when they're preaching at me with, "I'm happy to hear you've found what you need, now..." and then I change the subject.
I had a good friend who was a Jehovah's Witness. She became a JW after losing a teenage son to brain cancer. It helped her to believe that she'd be reunited with him. It gave her comfort in a horrible situation. She'd come to see me and I'd let her try to convert me for about 5-10 minutes, then change the subject to mutual interests, like sewing. I felt that was the kindest way to deal with her and retained our friendship.

No. I think they are wrong. But I respect people who think their religion is the truth. If you don't think your religion is the truth then why would you practice that religion? A Jehovah's Witness who doesn't think that their religion is the truth isn't really a Jehovah's Witness. It does annoy me when I tell them I have my own religion and I'm not interested in theirs, but I try to respect everyone's right to have different beliefs from me.

Arrogance, particularly of the religious kind makes me sad. I abhor arrogance and I bet God does too. Paul warns about being 'puffed up with pride' as it may lead to judgement with the devil. (1 Tim. 3:6). Such arrogance as to claim they have the truth is displaying the same attitude. I know, I was guilty of it too, once upon a time, and now I cringe with remorse when I look back and remember. I can hear my smug, 'it's the truth' right now and i feel quite sick.

No, of course not. I think that Jehovah's Witnesses are well-meaning people who are doing their best. Many of the things the religion teaches are true. It's good to recognize and accept truth no matter who is teaching it.

Had you Lived In the Time of Christ I think you would have taken Jesus for a Cult Leader.
After Jesus’ death and resurrection, his disciples were likewise the target of serious accusations. One group of first-century Christians were dragged to the city rulers by people crying out: ‘These men have overturned the inhabited earth.’ (Acts 17:6) On another occasion the apostle Paul and his companion Silas were taken to the authorities and charged with greatly disturbing the city of Philippi.
Paul was later accused of being a “pestilent fellow and stirring up seditions among all the Jews throughout the inhabited earth” and of trying “to profane the temple.” (Acts 24:5, 6) The principal men of the Jews in Rome accurately described the situation of Jesus’ followers when they acknowledged: “For truly as regards this sect it is known to us that everywhere it is spoken against.”—Acts 28:22.
Your Venomous Behavior shows you do not display Christian Qualities and thats a sad state of affairs.

since march 14 until now almost 147,000 people became Jehovah ´s witnesses and about 600 millions hours preaching God´s kingdom in 238 countries and about 300 hundreds Kingdom halls built it.
If we belongs to the devil don´t worry we will fall but if we belongs to God almighty nobody will stop the preaching of this good news.

My best friend is a Witnesses and I have such fun picking on her...she is one of the few open minded ones I have found...but yes it does...My thing is if it is "the truth" why isn't it older. I believe the religion began in 1884. I am not saying they are wrong out of respect for there belief's.
