problem: fear # 1 roller coasters/ 1st career choice air force pilot.( friends brother took me for a ride in a f-16) i did fine.

problem: fear#2 parachuting/ 2nd career choice pararescumen USAF. (never been parachuting before)

The best way to overcome fears like those would be to just do it. Sometimes you have to face your fears to realize that it wasn't really a fear, it was just unknown

When you have the Lord in your life there is nothing to fear. Even death has no sting, because you know you'll be with the Lord.

Don't act foolish, but if you have a job to do - do it and Trust the Lord.

I know people who jump compulsively. From what I've heard, once you've jumped a few times your fears of everything else just kind of go away.

I don't think you're going to avoid being afraid the first time.
