I keep on thinking that someone or people are watching me; I lock my doors so that they can't get to me. I keep on thinking that I feel them behind me, watching me. I once saw someone sitting in my kitchen.
At work, I think that people are speaking ill of me and I avoid them at all cost.

Also, this voice in my head keeps on saying bad things about me like I'm going to go blind and get rape and it is seriously driving me insane. :/

definitely not and that i might say that extra circumstances than not it truly is a symptom of yet another psychological sickness or of drug use. i've got considered sufferers with melancholy and rigidity themes show paranoia. Schizophrenia is a lot extra complete than basically paranoia. It includes quite a few different warning signs which could persist for somewhat awhile.

If you think you may have a mental disorder see your primary care physician as soon as possible so he can refer you to a psychiatrist. That way you can be properly diagnosed and treated.

it depends on the impact of the paranoia it could alter completely the mental state being schizophrenic is not a temporary mind set as paranoia can be if you have a tendency to harm someone and yourself see a doctor about meds you can take after a proper diagnosis until then you should be alright

Sure, but it's also a sign of paranoia. There are other mental disorders that it can go with. I think insomnia can cause it as well. Mania. Bipolar.
And I think it can live on it's own.
I think delusional ideas are more a sign of schizophrenia.

Paranoia can be a diagnosis on its own, or it can also be part of schizophrenia or other disorders. Paranoia can be closely linked with psychosis (i.e. paranoid delusions, breaking from reality). You should probably make an appointment with a psychiatrist to get yourself checked out.

Yes, paranoia is one of the symptoms, and yes, if your statements are accurate, you do indeed need medical help.
