Blood cancers are under the category of lymphoma. There are many kinds. Two have already been mentioned. One category under lymphoma is non-hodgkins lymphoma which also has different kinds under it such as large diffuse B cell and follicular . Large diffuse B cell lymphoma is the most responsive to treatment. People can be in remission from it for long periods of time. As to the recurrence rate, I don't know. Are you a Singaporean? If yes, i wonder you know this person from Radio FM97.2 his name is Billy Wang. If i did not remember wrongly, he suffered from blood cancer but his still alive and helping alot of people like teaching them how to eat right, healthy & exercise. Leukemia and Hodgkin's disease are blood cancers. Can they be cured, sometimes. The odds are much better today than they were 10-15 years ago.
