I am a woman...and when I went to the bar this same line always worked. It at least started a conversation. I would walk right up to them and say hey where are you from what is your name you look sooo familiar to me and i was trying to figure out from where..If they like you they will keep on talking if not just walk away...if they do like you offer to buy a drink...
