Absolutely not. The Mormon church calls itself the "Church of Christ of Latterday Saints," which sounds similiar, but is not the same thing as the Chruch of Christ. While the Church of Christ and the Mormon church do share some beliefs and history, one of the most famous criticisms of the Book of Mormon came from Alexander Campbell, one of the "founders" of the Church of Christ.
If you Google "Alexander Campbell Book of Mormon" you can find his entire critique.
If you have any other questions concerning the Church of Christ, please feel free to write me. I used to be a member of that church, and although I see that some of their doctrines are incorrect, I am still proud of my heritage and I love the church despite its flaws.
There is a church in Manchester, NY that calls itself, "the Church of Christ" that is a spin off of the mormon church and as such does believe in the Book of Mormon, however, they are in no way connected the the Church of Christ that is probably in your town.

The official name is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints".
aka Mormons
aka "The church of Jesus Christ"
aka "LDS" or "latter day saints
So you could casually refer to the Church as "Christs church" or "the church of christ", however there is an official organized church called "Church of Christ".
There might also be little Mormon spin off groups with the same name, but I don't know. Most of those have only a few dozen members.
So, the official "Church of Christ" does not believe in the Book of Mormon (and don't tend to like mormons much for that matter).
That clear as mud???

Not many people out there know about other Restorationist (Latter Day Christian) churches. Most Mormons especially are completely ignorant to such churches. I'd reccomend to all fellow LDS to study these churches. The early LDS history is absolutely fascinating and in studying it you gain a better appreciation for our church and it really strengthens your testimony.
There is a church called
The Church of Christ (Temple Lot). I'm assuming that is the church on which you are betting.
It's a restorationist church. They believe in the prophet Joseph Smith and the 1830 version of the Book of Mormon. This church owns the land upon which the temple at Zion is prophesied of being constructed (according to Joseph Smith). This church does not accept the Doctrine & Covenants (compared to other restorationist churches) nor do they revere the Pearl of Great Price. I've been told that they do believe in the Book of Commandments (The predecessor of the Doctrine & Covenants). They believe that though JSmith was a prophet, through pride he became a "fallen prophet". For this reason they do not accept any Latter Day revelations or practices from post-Kirtland times. They believe in the trinity, they don't believe in having a first presidency, nor in having high priests (their apostles are the head of their church). They denounce polygamy, baptisms for the dead, celestial marriage, the eternal nature of the family, etc.
Essentially these people are "Protestants with a Book of Mormon".
From their website it seems that they believe one day the 100+ denominations of Mormonism will reunite before the millenium and at this time is when Zion and the Temple at the lot will be built.
If I err in any of the aformentioned, I hope that one gentleman who posts here often will correct me (He's a member of this church).

There are a few organizations that believe the Book of Mormon. There is a church called The Community of Christ (they used to be the RLDS church) that believes the Book of Mormon. And in the past there have been churches called the Church of Christ that did also. The large and well-known one today is a completely different organization, and has nothing to do with it.
Edit: Phrog is also right. I forgot about that one.

Well, the official name for the Mormon church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints"
Church of (Jesus) Christ is right in the start of the name.
But if you're talking about other denominations of Christianity, then no, they don't believe in the book of Mormon. It's pretty far out there, even for a religion.

It is the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints not the Church of Christ. There is a difference. LDS are Mormons and Chuch of Christ is not.

Which church of Christ. There are some that do and some that don't. If they are a splinter group of MOrmonism, they will hold to the BOM. If you find a "Disciples of Christ" church (instrumental or non-instrumental), they will not. If you find the Boston Church of Christ, they will not either.

If you mean the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints, (LDS), yes they believe the book of Mormon to be more accurate than the Holy Bible.
