i was surprised when i found out that my girlfriend's mom was a pornstar. i just met her today and i asked what she does for a living and she was like, "i make porn movies". i was surprised when i heard this, and my girlfriend wasn't even ashamed of it. her mom was really nice, but i never expected her to be in porn. she even offered me some of her movies. should i still date her because of this?

What he mother does for work has nothing to do with you are your girlfriend's relationship. If you like your girlfriend then stay with her regardless.

If you "love" your girlfriend that you would know that she is her own person. What her mother does not matter in your relationship with her unless you are so uncomfortable with it that is hinders the relationship. I am sure your girlfriend didn't think anything was wrong with it because her mother is doing it and possibly doing it for a long time. Really if you love your girlfriend you will try to get past this but if its is not true love you will grow apart no matter what her mother does for a living.

How does her mom's job have anything to do with you dating the girl.
If her mother was a teacher, banker, CEO of company, would that really make a difference in how you feel about the daughter. If the answer is yes, then you should break up with the girl right now, because you clearly don't care about her.

I think there could be worse moms to deal with. (compared to a religious freak or an abusive parent) Your girlfriend is probably really open minded and accepting of others because of her mom's openness.
I think if you like your girlfriend, you should be with her, regardless of who her mother is.

Judge the girl for herself, not what her parents do for a living.
