I think that some people are so against Atheism that they become clouded, mean spirited and eradic in their thinking when they attempt to hide their own insecurities about their faith. Charles Darwin was a religious man himself before he had to come to terms with his own discovery of evolution and his "survival of the fittest" theory. This was not an easy endeavor for him, but the evidence was clear in his mind what was reality and what was mythology. So he did what any good scientist would do. Follow where the evidence leads him. Charles Darwin has done more for this world than any religious figure ever did. It is a shame that poeple don't know or don't care to know more about him.

As far as developmentally disabled folks go, Coulter is pretty bright. The whole Hitler/Darwin equation is really just misplaced aggression on it's (Ann's) part. You'd be angry to if you were born with a penis and raised as a girl. It's not all it's fault.

That's intellectual laziness. They see eugenics, they connect it to Darwin. I don't recall Darwin ranting about "lebensraum."
To the guy who said Hitler was inspired by Marx and Engels...where did you get that? I have serious doubts about that statement. You are aware that communism was seriously frowned upon in Nazi Germany?
*Edit* -- which is not to say that Marx and Engels didn't write some pretty racist things, but that hardly proves they inspired Hitler. Unfortunately, anti-Semitism predates Marx and Engels.

Ann Coulter thinks Darwin inspired Hitler? I didn't know that. I guess I haven't been paying that much attention to her insanity these days.

No. Hitler's mentor was Dietrich Eckart. Ann Coulter has her head up her rear end and is a hate-filled fearmonger.

I always say - consider the source.
And Hitler was an A-1 whack-job. That explains that in a nutshell.

Actually, Hitler got his ideas from that guy in Virginia who "pioneered" eugenics. A reall psycho... forced sterilizations and stuff. A serious nutter.

Ann Coulter is so ignorant, and so far beyond human decency, I can't believe anyone is even printing her drivel.
