Night weddings are more romantic!

My wedding was at 630 pm... it was a good time because people ate dinner before the wedding so we just had some really good hor deuvres and finger foods at the reception... also, the reception was on a boat so the night sky was beautiful....
And now that I've done it... I cant imagine having a wedding any earlier.... I was still up at 6am that morning eating breakfast, getting hair and make up done... etc.
Also, I wanted a black-tie event... my dress was a very formal gown with a 11 foot long train... so I really wanted a very formal wedding, so the later time fit very well
Honestly, I think I couldnt have picked a better time.

Well My sisters having the Church wedding at 4:30-5ish, and then around 6 everyone heads down to the reception hall, and i prefer night weddings cause everyones in the mood of dancing and just having fun :)

I think night weddings are more romantic-you can go with candlelight, etc, but I'm having a morning wedding...I think I'll be a nervous wreck that day, so I'll be happy to have the wedding first thing.

Night weddings are more romantic. People get into the mood, the dancing and the open bar more at night!

We got married at night and it was wonderful. The wedding was at 7:30 PM and we had the bubbles when we came out of the church and it looked so cool. It even came out great in the pictures and on the wedding video.

I agree with everyone else night weddings are beautiful. I am personally having a wedding at sunset on the beach. I can't wait!

Our reception started at 3pm with food and went on til it was dark, so a mixture of both is good with me!
