what is taking a scripture out of context: wouldn’t that be if that one scripture didn’t agree with many others on

Yes Jesus was a Jehovah's Witness.

In Revelation Jesus is called the faithful and true witness.

In John 17 Jesus said he made his Fathers name known.

But it's truly amazing that Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones that are truly Jehovah's Witnesses.

All other religions are more Jesus Witnesses because they put all focus on Jesus and leave Jehovah out of it.

That's why Satan loves the false trinity teaching because it hides Jehovah's true identity.

Jesus loves his Father Jehovah.
Jesus taught us to pray to his Father Jehovah.

Jehovah and Jesus are not the same person.

Jehovah is the only true God.
Jesus said this in prayer to his Father.

John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

John 17:6 “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word.

John 17:26 And I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.”

I know what you are saying but here is where the confusion comes in. Jesus is a god, he is a divine one and as the Trinity people like to point out in John 1:1, he is with God. Now, the Father, is Jehovah. He alone is Almighty God. As it is explained, Jesus the son is in the "bosom position" of the Father. He is "First Born" going back eons of time. Everything else came into existence through this order. People are particularly confused because of the churches taking Jehovah's name out of the bible close to 7,000 times. Instead they put the word God or Lord. So, naturally, people think that Jesus Christ is the almighty. This is one of the most "crafty acts" that Satan does to mislead. He is misleading the whole earth. Re 12:9 (This is why the world is in chaos)

Answering this question is an utter waste of time as your mind is made up and you're just creating a platform for your belief. However, never let it be said that a Christian refused to give a reason for the hope within them, and to do so graciously.

So, dear Jehovah's Witness, can I respectfully ask if you are a Jew? If you were born a Jew, or are a Jewish proseylite, then the statement in Isaiah does indeed apply to you. The nation of Israel (fleshly Israel, that is) had to be witnesses of YHWH, the great I AM. Circumcision was the sign of the covenant relationship they were in. All of Jehovah's witnesses had to be circumcised.

When Jesus came, he was circumcised because he was born a Jew and was in the old covenant. He had to keep the law perfectly if he was to become the sacrifice for our sins. In that sense he was like all other Jews except he managed to keep the law perfectly. What better witness could there be to the greatness of the giver of that law? But before Jesus returned to heaven, he told his followers that THEY WERE TO BE HIS WITNESSES! (Phew! Blasphemy if he were not God!) Mat 10:16-42 Mark 13:13 Lk 21:12-17 & 24:45-53 Acts 1:8 & 2:32 & 3:15 & 5:32 & 10:39-43 & 13:30-40 Rev 11:3.

Only when Jehovah's Witnesses go from door to door testifying as the gospel Christ's death and resurrection and that only faith in Christ will save anyone will they be Christians, bearing CHRIST's name honorably.

More or less yes.

Certainly Jesus himself was the Greatest Witness of Jehovah.

If you believe, as I do, that he is God's son, then we all know he perfectly reflected his father.

If you believe Christ is God, then certainly he witnessed about himself well.

If Jesus was, "Just a good man". Then he still set a great principle for anyone who loves God.

I personally feel that we all previde some Witness about God, even Satan. The kind of Witness varies from person to person.

Father K says there is no J sound or letter in Hebrew, but he references a work on Judaism, which begins with a J. What??? What does your flock call Jesus?

The other person who references Colossians 14 to say that Jesus is God, need to read verses 1-3 first. The other lady who wants to hex someone, needs to look in the mirror and hex herself. She doesn't need to answer the question.

Got_air, you are referencing words from the apostles, "You are my witnesses," was a quote from Jehovah. Also the word church was not used early on, it was congregation.

Yes. Since Jesus was the first and foremost Witness of Jehovah, then if we are truly following in his footsteps, then we too will be witnesses of Jehovah.

Jehovah's Witnesses both witness personally and bear witness to others regarding God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah

(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus

(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”

(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

Sorry friend but that fact that a church gets it's name from scripture does not necessarily validate it. Here are two examples of what I mean, quotes added...

Romans 16:16
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the "churches of Christ" send greetings.

1 Corinthians 1:2
To the "church of God" in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours:

No. You have a severe linguistic problem there, my friend:

The English name “Jehovah” was invented by biblical linguists sometime in the Middle Ages, based on a misunderstanding of Masoretic Hebrew texts. It is a hybrid word consisting of the Tetragrammaton YHWH (“J” used to be pronounced as “Y”) and the vowels for the word “Adonai.” Though “Jehovah” is used a few times in the 1611 King James Version (e.g., Gen 22:14; Exod 6:3; Isa 12:2; Ps 83:18) and is found in many older Christian hymns, it is not the authentic biblical pronunciation of the sacred Name.

(For a discussion of the “Jehovah or Yahweh” question see “God, Names of” in Encyclopædia Judaica, vol. 7, col. 680, or George F. Moore, Judaism in the First Centuries of the Christian Era: The Age of the Tannaim (3 vols., Cambridge, Mass.: Harvard Univ. Press, 1927-30), vol. 1, p. 219 and note 1, p. 427.

Most modern Bible translations have notes on this issue in their introductions, agreeing that the true Name of the Heavenly Father is Yahweh.

There is no "J" sound or letter in Hebrew.

JESUS means: JAHWEH is Salvation. JESUS is JAHWEH God. ... for He shall save His people [His elects] from their sins. see Matthew 1:21

We read in Colossians 1:14-17:In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who [JEZUS} is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.
