more to the point - why do some morons do the homework?
adults should know better - it's cheating.

They expect to have their homework done here by someone else because people will do the homework! That's why. The more people ignored those questions/requests, the less there would be posted. However, I would have to say that every once in a while there are a few asked that are legitimate.

Well this is a very wrong question. Why do you assume that people are posting HW questions. They may be wondering for themselves what something is about.
And anyway, isn't this Yahoo Answers. o.0 People have questions and some ppl have answers.
If you have the answer to lets say a HW question, is it that HARD and BAD for you to help another human being out?
If you do not want to help them, then just don't go into the question tingy and let someone else answer the questions [without referring them to this forum -_-]

I honestly can't believe there is a homework help section on YA. Students these days can just post questions on there all day long without doing their own homework. That is just ridiculous. How are these people going to learn anything when all they do is copy and paste the answer? That's so sad :(

I have thought that too.
When I was a kid we had to do our homework the hard way.
Some of the questions they ask are really hard though and I have not found one I know the answer to yet.
Maybe they think someone out in cyberspace knows more than they do.

You never know when someone will spitefully give you the wrong answers. Those are the same people who skate by and barely graduate and have low-paying jobs...or none at all.

OMG, I can't stand those little kids! There was one instance where some one posted about 20 math problems and said "I didn't have time to do my homework! What are the answers?". AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY ANSWERED! WTF?!?!? No wonder today's youth are going straight downhill! I honestly try not to let those answers get to me, but there are times that I have to post a scold or two just so I know that I did my part in telling them they need to grow up and take responsibility for themselves. I mean, if their parents won't do it, SOME ONE has to right?
