Who is better?
A religious man who always went to church/mosque/synagogue
Never did anything wrong but nothing really good
Or an atheist who don’t believe in god but dedicated his life to helping others, people less fortunate then him, and in the conclusion of thing did more good to the world then the religious man. But he did not bow before any god, and was free.

Because all the religious people I know support war, care mostly for their own fortune, carry guns, do not care for the environment, recycling and pollution. Are against any way that the state could help for less fortunate (free medical care for all, tax’s that discriminate in favor of the poor incomes)

And all the people that care and help and fight ageist war, occupation, exploitation, chauvinism, pollution are atheists.

Well, obviously this question comes from an atheist. =)

if you ask a Christian, the obvious answer would be to choose the Religious Man who didn't do bad.

Not all the religious people support war. It would be unfair to say that "all" of the religious people support war and barbarism. Please don't generalize.

Indeed, It is true that there are some Atheists who are good but like I said, Its not everybody... some of them are bad too.

Neither man is better. Religion never did anything for man except provide an exercize in futility for those trying to earn brownie points with God. Doing "good" is a way to make people feel better about themselves so they can say "Well, I'm really not a bad person" I am a Christian. I don't believe in war for th esake of war but I do know there is a place for it.
While it's easy to say lets not fight other nations, I'm sure you would do what ever was necessary to keep me from robbing your house while you were in it. Especially if you thought I was going to do harn to your family. The same way it is lawful and sensible for us to defend our country from its enemies and, I'll tell you I would rather the fight be over there than at my front door. Imagine a sortie of bombs blowing up your street.
That said however, it is statistically proven that religious people do give more and are overall "better people" from a human stand point in just about every area of life..
But this is a view point based on the creature not the view point of the creator. For example, if you were to paint a picture It is you as the painter to decide when the picture met your standard of completion , or perfection. Well, if that picture were smeared somehow then your standard of completion , or perfection has been missed. The picture, wants to be "good enough, but the only way for it to be good enough is for you to fix it. It doesen't matter how much the people who look at it like it, or even if the picture can say how many people it pleased; that picture had missed your standard; its creator.

This is the human condition. We are constantly trying religion to get on Gods good side. We do things to try to cover up out true position: out of relationship with our creator.
The great thing about God though is that even though we are out of relationship with Him because we are spiritually dead to Him because we mis the mark of His perfection, He himself has made a way that we can be right with Him again. That is through His only son Jesus. He showed, and taught us how to live a life that would be beneficial to us, gave his life to atone for sin and restore our relationship with Him and then he rose from th edead again so that we could live forever in His presence instead of living in hell that is prison for Satan and his followers.

Q & A from the tract "IS THE CHURCH AGE OVER"

Q. I haven’t heard much taught about Hell from the churches I have attended. Do you think God will really throw people into Hell forever?
A. Sadly, the churches are not bringing the whole counsel of God in our day. There is much talk about being saved, but very little talk regarding what we are saved from. Indeed, the Bible does teach that Hell is eternal:
…it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into Hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:43,44
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Matthew 25:46

Q. I thought that since I went to church regularly, I was safe from Hell; but now I am not so sure?
A. The church has never been able to save anyone. Jesus indicated many churchgoers would end up in Hell:
Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21,23

Q. How can I escape eternal damnation?
A. This is really the all important question for each one of us because we are all sinners and have offended God and therefore are subject to spend an eternity in Hell. But the Bible does speak of the possibility of salvation:
…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

"Better" is not relevant here. Even if the religious person did more (apparent) good, if they did it because some external criteria told them to, the action was purely selfish and not even related to ethics. Yes, this includes Mother Theresa.

Neither is better. Both are human.

Anyone that says otherwise is judgemental and a hypocrite.

"Free medical care for all". Sorry to spoil your day, but medical care is not free, someone has to pay for it!

Anyone who does good will receive a reward. That is clear from the scriptures......

Matthew 25
31 ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his aright hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his aright hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the aleft hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal
