In what?
Just believing and having faith in something that is worthless will gain you nothing.
Many have this in a concept of God that is not according to the Bible. All the faith and belief in the world will not make a false assumption true. It is much like Elijah and the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings ch.18. The king at that time was criticized for trying to have it both ways of beliefs. It was pointed out to him that this was not possible.
Two altars were setup. One to Baal. One to Jehovah. A calf sacrifice was placed on each. Each one then called to their God. The many Baal priests did everything they could but nothing happened. After having enough water poured on it to drown anything, Elijah by himself walked out and prayed. Fire came down from heaven and consumed everything.
Belief and faith matter if it is directed in the right direction.

I disagree. Belief and faith do not magically make things happen. No amount of faith will make an amputee regenerate their limb or cure someones mental disorder. Faith can be a good motivator to take action, but faith alone doesn't do anything, and some things are just not possible.

Everything is possible
reality is merely the world proving the truth of what you have in your brain as a mind
everyone sees out there proof of what they hold to be true
antinomies are everywhere
we live in a marvelous magical continuum hologram that manages to make all things fit

an·tin·o·my /ænËtɪnÉmi/ [an-tin-uh-mee]
–noun, plural -mies.
1. opposition between one law, principle, rule, etc., and another.
2. Philosophy. a contradiction between two statements, both apparently obtained by correct reasoning.
it is belief and faith in everything that you have decided that is providing right now what you see as reality
the greater question is how does one decide what is held in one's belief and faith
most minds are formed by the randomness of life
many masters have come to reveal the freedoms of forming one's own concepts deliberatly and logically. They get murdered or crucified and then the killers take over saying what that master really meant
go figure eh?

There are a great many impossibilities , faith and praying won't change them . A person who lost his legs in an accident can pray 24/7 for the rest of his life . At the end of his long life of praying , be still did not grow new legs .

Not exactly. Because if I sat in a room and believed and had faith that I would get a job, I know it wouldn't happen.
You have to take control and leave the rest to faith.

No, obviously that's not true. Anything is not possible. If I believe that I'm a millionaire, does that make it so?
