Greg Simmons the author stated: "Time must wrap itself around the irrevocable decision"
predestination and luck are only terms programmed into us to think the world and we are only random operated machines
The owner's manuals for life are not a reality in common people's existence
The truth is out there
misinformation is everywhere
as so many of your answers here proclaim "this is 2007" prove: our cultural existence has been steadily contracting down towards death not life
Yet walking amongst us is always still the extraordinary
sadly oft unseen

I'd say that person has a good head on his/her shoulders. There's no such thing as luck. Chance, yes, but not luck. There is no good luck or bad luck.
Predestination is not in the picture either. We all make choices about our lives as we go. God knows what choices we are going to make, and He allows us. But just because He knows, doesn't mean it's predestined. WE make the choice, and HE allows us.

That they have a level head on their shoulders. That would be my answer. I am one who does not believe in predesitination or luck (good or bad). Just random happenings and consequences for your actions.
