What would you say to this child about the love of God?
If you could speak to this child how would you explain your belief in a God with his reality. If this child was within your reach would you help her or would you place your faith in God to help her?

This is a good question. I cant begin to imagine what a child would think.
I would figure that he would question Gods love existance or be really ticked off at God.
He would wonder why people would let him be hungry...
I mean sit down for a minute and put yourself in a hungry childs place...think about it...how would you feel?
And I mean really think about it...not from your Christian stand point, imagine yourself as the child...without your knowledge of your Gods love, but as a hungry child with food all around you but you have none. Why do you have none? Who failed you? God? Your parents? Society? Everyone?

I would help her. She does not need spiritual comfort, she needs physical care. What does spirituality mean to her, who humanity has failed?
I can't believe the guy just left her there.
OK. I'm like weeping openly in my cube now. I need to go hug my kids.
