i read your link ,but sorry i`ll have to read it 20 more times to get my head around that lot .but i also tend to believe that God created the world by evolution if God is infinate time is nothing to him so why would he need to do anything in a hurry

The problem with radioactive dating is that the dates are still measured against the faulty, preconceived "geologic column". Any dates that don't fit this preconceived column, which doesn't exist anywhere in the world except in a textbook, are thrown out. They end up throwing out over 99% of the dates that radioactive dating provides. That's called "forcing the facts to fit the theory" - instead of altering the theory to fit the facts.

its much more than carbon dating,, there are timelines in the earth that also tell a story,, each level of dirt shows what happened at what time,, greeks and romans kept great records and they go by those timelines as well,i believe that god created evolution

i going to go out on a limb here and say that fundies didn't give a [censored] about carbon dating until it proved that the Shroud of Turin was a fake. then it was 'invalid' or of satan...
