is there a way to make ps2 play on ps3?

im talking about the european 60gb version with no emotion chip anyway ive tried playin black and hitman blood money on my ps3 and they did not work is there a way i can get them to work without the updates coz there unreliable and they might never work

All of my PS2 Games work on my PS3 the only thing i can recomend is just giving the disk a good cleaning.

If your game isn't there, you can't play it. If it's there - may be your discs are scratched or dirty. Clean them gently with soft rug with no threads from the center of the cd to the впую If it's really dirty - use warm water, no solvents.
