It very well could be. Go to the schools health office and inquire there. They should be able to help. If you have been around any cats or someone else could have passed it to you, from their cat. It sort of sounds like ringworm. Go to a health professional right a way. Do not wait. Ringworm can be difficult to rid yourself of if it has had time to settle in for a while. Good luck!!!

It could be ringworm or Lyme disease, so you should have a doctor check ir at the school clinic.
It could also be a condition called pityriasis rosea, which starts with a small "herald patch" and then turns into a rash all over the body. PR is usually a problem for people who get no sun.

A perfect circular rash. Seems to me like you may have Lyme Disease as that is a symptom. Go and talk to a doctor immediately. I don't believe it is ringworm as the symptoms are itchy, red, or scaly patches that can blister and ooze.

I always had those same rings when I started Uni although wasnt living in halls/dorms the doctor said it was 'ringworm' which is passed by touch contact with somebody else who has been in contact with Horses ??????
If they disappear and then reappear somewhere else on the body then yeh! its ringworm....

I learned a couple of years ago that pretty much any rash, especially a circular one, is a fungal rash called ring worm. I used to think you could only get it from cats but I learned different when my kids got it and we didn't have any cats. You need to get a topical cream from the doctor.

Probably is ring worm. If its still small go to the a local pahramacy and buy a tube for Jock Itch. Its the same virus just called different names depending on where on the body it occurs.
a $5.00 tube of jock itch cream beats paying $50+ for a doctors visit.

it could well be
dorms are well known to be one of THE filthiest places on earth and its quite possible you could be exposed to it there.
however, if you start getting achy, flulike symptoms and your joints hurt, its a candidate for Lymes, as mentioned. Especially if it gets a white or bullseye spot in the center.
