I'm adding a few details, this program called Chute had a scene about birds it showed bees flying around a plant and said baby birds are called Bees, and went on to say birds first appeared on the planet in 1962, I have twins of seven Im 37 I was brought up on Andy Pandy and Play School then a bit of He-man and Shera all good stuff for kids but CHUTE? Id rather let my kids watch Hellboy than that, there are programes that you dont learn anything from which is fine tv is meant to be fun then there are educational programes for educational aspired people, but Chute is not fun and is more than a step back in an impressionable childs education. and yes Im fully aware that I can stop my children from watching it I just wanted to know what other people thought to the program I wasnt asking for advice just opinions.

Yeah, it's pure drivel, and then we wonder why our kids are a bunch of ADD-having, low-achieving psychos. Whatever happened to GOOD shows, like Mr. Rogers and Electric Company? Even Captain Kangaroo was better than this rubbish. Sesame Street is still on, but they devote nearly half their program to that little cr_ap weasel Elmo. What you should do is go pick up the first 5 seasons of Sesame Street (1969-1974) on DVD, they have it now, and show your kids what GOOD children's programming is supposed to look like. But I'm afraid they'll have to keep watching the lame shows of today as well, or they'll be out of the loop in preschool, LOL.

I grew up on He-man and Shera as well as Rainbow Brite and my Little Ponies. Even as a kid I couldn't stand Sesame Streets and shows like that. But Sesame Street is pretty entertaining, especially compared to the crap they show now. These poor kids gotta learn at school and at home now, how sad. I laugh when I see some of the kids shows...teletubbies melts my mind.
