Blurry zoomed shots are easily explained by camera shake. Remember the rule - make sure the speed at which you are shooting is at least equal to or greater than the focal length at which the lens is set. So lens at 250 (35mm equivalent) = shutter speed of 1/250th or faster. Blurry pictures can also be explained by use of a digital zoom. I haven't checked to see if your camera has such, but if it does, don't use it!* All that happens is that the centre of the image is digital enlarged - also contributing towards evidence of camera shake.

Orange tint - I can't explain. If it were a film camera I would suggest it is evidence of the camera not being light tight. Have you checked whether you have some kind of filter effect set?

* I have checked and see your camera has 18x zoom - even with image stabilisation (which it has - make sure it is switched on!) slow shutter speeds at the extreme end will lead to camera shake.

Find a quiet place, get comfy and READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual that came with your camera. It wasn't packed in there as filler material - its there so you can learn to operate your camera.

Take one feature/setting at a time, practice it until you feel comfortable with it, then go to the next one.
