Yes they did. They killed thousands of innocent civilians. But they were stopped before they could make it to the end. That is very hard to accept for them.

That is why, they are making up stories, as Turks did the genocide. To show to the world themselves white as milk. And that is why they are rejecting the proposal of Turkey to review the historical facts.

I DON'T KNOW. Around Baskale there were Armenian houses but all the Armenians were gone. It was explained that they had all gone back to their homeland. In the Museum in Van there was (still is, I guess) a room dedicated to the Turkish/Armenian conflict. There are bones from both sides and stories of the battles and the number of dead on both sides. It looked like there had been a conflict and fighting but not systematic ethnic cleansing, after all, their were large numbers of dead on both sides.

Yes they did. Terrorist Armenian groups like Tashnak, mass murdered whole villages of Turks in eastern Anatolia with the hope of helping the Russian army so in return the Russians would help them slice a huge part of Turkey to claim as Armenia.
In retaliation, the Sultan ordered the removal of Armenians to southern Turkey. Due to lack of food and other resources (it was WW I) around 250,000 Armenians died during the transportation. That was very sad, I feel sorry for them, as I shed tears for those innocent civilian Turks murdered by Armenian militia.
