A smart question. Have a star for it.
I don't think he will forgive you. It's God who forgives people for their sins, not a prophet..

His forgiveness is like a gift. But in order to receive that gift we need to ask for it. Salvation is offered to every single man on the Earth, for we all have sinned and fallen short the glory of God. Every single one of us needs forgiveness, and Jesus made that possible by dying for our sins and being resurrected three days later. All we have to do to be forgiven is just ASK. Tell God that your sorry for all the sins you've done, ask Him to come into your heart and take control of your life, and believe that He did die for the sins of the world and He rose again. And if you truly meant that then you are forgiven and will spend eternity in heaven with Him when you die. How can you be forgiven if you don't believe what He did for you?

Jesus died for the sins of mankind, at that moment on the cross we he cried out " my God why have you for saken Me", he had taken on the worst of sin as his own. That's right at that moment he was Adolf Hitler, John Wayne Gacey, Saddam Hussein etc..... It doesn't sound right but he was in the process of defeating satan and the bondage of sin satan has on this world. We are all sinners and God looks at sin and SIN. We all have been given the oppurtunity to be for given, but first we must believe in Jesus, Repent of the sins we have commmitted (tell God you are sorry, he knows your heart, and never do them again!!)confess to others that we believe that Jesus is the Christ the son of the living God , and be Baptized into his death burial and ressurection, symbolized by being submersed into a body of water and being raised from it. Sorry, it truly is inaccurate. Jesus is God-made-guy. he's not only a sturdy guy, or comfortable guy, or god-like guy. His IS God, both human and divine. His lack of life changed into for atonement of all sin, for all humankind, each and each and every of the time - previous, latest and destiny. His lack of life changed into even for the atonement and forgiveness of those who tortured and killed Him. After He died, He rose from the useless, completely alive both body and SOUL. His body isn't in an unknown grave someplace in the international; he's in heaven, with God, finished body and soul. God bless.

Some ofm the responses accuse you of not thinking in the Biblical sense.

Good for you.

For those "thinking" in that biblical sense, you may wish to consider the bible ONE translated-Distorted interpretation of reality, Just one, and in that view we see a NARROW window with penalty's and this is the Church's view.

I dare not attempt to count the Inserts made into the bible by the Church but I estimate many.

I'm impressed by the numerous references to sin and forgiveness. Sounds like you need to ask God not us.

If you now believe that He died for your sins, and you're repenting of your previous non-belief, then of course you will be forgiven.

Only if you are enlightened, and realizing that you were wrong, repent, and receive Jesus as LORD, and Savior.

Otherwise, He isn't going to just meat you at the Pearly Gates, "OH well, I understand, com on in." That ain't gonna happen !

Right...

My belief says that while we're on earth, if we accept the gospel and we live our life according to it...we will enter the top level of Heaven(the bible mentions it, talking about celestial bodies). If you did not accept the gospel while on earth but lived a good life(like Gandhi) you'll get into the second level(which is mentioned by terrestrial bodies in the bible) and then if you've lived a bad life(murderer, rapist, etc.) and you did not repent until after you die you will still be accepted into Heaven, but only into the third level(telestial bodies as it is mentioned in the bible) and then of course if you don't accept the gospel after you die, you go to Hell.

Only if you ask...and if you ask then it's because you know and understand that he died for your sins.
