Olive oil has many purposes, for your hair, scalp, body, cracked heels, and my brother's favorite a hangover remedy -- it coats your estophgus and stomach! There are some brands that have incorporated olive oil into lotion, Palmers is one, and some others you might want to check it out. If you are going to just buy the store bottle of oilve oil, you can just apply a little on with your finger tips.

Whichever you like.
Olive Oil has been used in skin care for millennia- literally. Some people like to infuse various herbs with it. Also, it is used to make Castillian soap.
There is an oil that I'm very fond of at a local health store. It is cut with a number of other oils, and a few fragrant herbs. But olive oil is one of the major ingredients, and it's just about the best moisturizer I've ever used.

Olive oil has been used as a skin and hair care product, either on its own, or with added perfume, for at least 6000 years in the Mediterranean and near-East area.
Some of the most common artifacts found in archaeological sites from Spain and Morocco all the way to the Indus valley of Pakistan and India, dating far into pre-Christian times, are containers for olive oil, which, judging by their location, was not used for cooking.

Yes, many beauty products use olive oil as an ingredient. If your pet has fleas, you can rub it into the skin gently. It smothers the fleas and leaves the pet's fur silky.
Another good oil is coconut oil. I asked an Indian friend why her hair was so beautiful and shiny. She said that as a child , her mom would massage coconut oil into her scalp. I have since learned that it is also good for dandruff.

there is soap and hair moisturizers but i like it after a bath. you can use it right from the bottle. and use a drop on the ends of your hair too to control ends and frizyness - just one or 2 drops. it is good for your skin and very light and it helps digestion when you eat.
