me+him=complicated?

Question

i like this guy..he likes me..we arn't dating..
he vented to me last night how he made out with this girl and then she played him for someone else. I'm not exactly sure what to do. we've dated before...but broke up..i'm willing for a second chance with him..
he also is a student observer in a class at my high school..
he says nothing can happen between he and i while he's here at my school..yea..
it sucks..
any advice?...i'd really appriciate it
because I like the guy soo much..and he says he cares the same for me as i do for him..idk..ugh
