There is no cure for OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), however there are medications to treat it. The most common medication is Paxil. It may take time to find the correct dose, but I have seen success with it. I would recommend talking to a Psychiatrist about treating OCD, and go from there.

Behavioral therapy (with or without medication) is considered the best treatment. You can't just wish OCD away, but you can train your mind to stop the patterns of thought, or at least to reduce them to a manageable level.
Good info is at http://www.ocfoundation.org/behavior-therapy.html
Studies have shown that ocd can cause mental changes (a vicious cycle, like digging a rut deeper and deeper), but by the same token, retraining your brain to NOT think that way, affects the brain too. Good luck

I was just prescribed Triavil for OCD/Scrupe/Depression. Has anyone ever heard of this. I read it has some scary possilbe side effects. I'm presently on Cymbalta but still experiencing anxitey and fear. I wonder if I should stay with Cymbalta or switch to Paxil.

My daughter had a severe panic attack and was diagnosed with Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

She took Zoloft and Paxil. She is off all medication now, but at one time she couldn't even get out of bed. She was delivered from the spirit of fear by the Lord. Perfect love casts out all fear, because fear has torment. God is perfect love. We learn from the Lord to have peace with Him, peace with others and peace with ourselves.

My daughter inherited the ancestral sin through her grandmother who inherited it from her ancestor. She had her grandmother's spirit. It came on her after her grandmother died. I took care of my mother all of her life because of her phobias and I didn't know what to do for my mother. The doctors said she had hardening of the arteries and it was affecting her mind. When it started happening to my daughter, I knew she had inherited it from her grandmother. The Bible teaches us all about disease. The Bible tells us a curse without a cause does not come in Proverbs 26:2.

Locate a Deliverance Ministry in your area. Make sure it is a Christian ministry. They must tell you that Jesus Christ is Lord and if they can't do this - run from them. A minister of God can cast out the spirit easily. And if you feel the spirit returning because they try to return - you tell the spirit to leave in the name of Jesus. Afterwards if you ever feel anxious about anything, my daughter sings the name of Jesus outloud while driving. Just saying Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, makes familiar or evil spirits leave.

I'm not crazy and my mind is only effected by the Lord.

That I know of there is not a "cure" however there is hope! There are medications that you can take but therapy is amazing as well. I have included a link that you may find helpful.
