Yes, much wiser about your choices. Personally, I dont settle, but have seen some that do.
As for crap: Never settle for cheating, lying, or an abusive relationship.
But quirks are different, some people throw thier dirty clothes on the floor of the closet, and some put it in the hamper. Is that important enough to throw away a good relationship. NO, Toothpaste top on or off.

Everyone is different. Some men and women make the same mistakes in relationships they always made. Some learn and grow and develop a maturity in relationships.
Some drop their standards, just so they won't be lonely. They would rather be in a bad relationship than NO relationship.
Each person is different, with different emotional needs. getting older does not mean you actually get wiser about relationships!

Some of us get wiser, some repeat their old mistakes. My priorities are much better today than 20 years ago. I'm less likely to put up with any crap, and definately no cheating.
Today, he has to have a nice smile, have a job, a vehicle, and not live with his parents. Back then, he had to be built, have a flashy car, etc.

Yes I think so. When you are older...you learn from your experiences and you already have a firm stand on a lot of things relationship-wise. You are not just a blank slate anymore and seem to be more confident. In turn, your choices and the way you handle a relationship is more constructive.

I dont think theres any question about it. Nothing can beat experience from learning from the past. As for men, we start to understand how much needs to go into a relationship, and that makes us more patient, and understanding. Its worked for me and now I believe i have found the love of my life.

no... its not really about the age. there are older people who are like kids when they're in a relationship. i guess it's more on the experience. you get to be more mature when you're in a relationship. you somehow change your views about things, and hey! about the standards? ... they're nothing when you really become mature already. as you gain more from your experiences, you get to accept the person for what and despite who they may be.

Unfortunately, not all people learn and grow in their relationships. But if you want to, you can. Set standards for yourself and find someone that shares those same standards.

I think it depends on the person. Not everyone is wise. In fact, I know plenty of older people that are about as smart as nails or any other inanimate object.
