Which was your favourite Star Trek Series?

Personally i prefered Voyager.
Although Deep Space Nine had a better story line.

Having just finished watching the 7 series of DS9 from the box sets it has re-inforced my belief that it is the best i loved the original and TNG , got into Voyager but the best is DS9 lots of characters and growth , the hate to friendship of Miles and Bashir , the competition of Quark and Odo , the always interesting Garak the excellent use of the Holodecks , Darren James as Vic Fontaine in last two series hmm could keep on but won't lol

Deep Space Nine was my favorite. I liked the darker story lines and that things didn't always end all squeaky clean. The characters had much more depth because they were not perfect. The next favorite would be TNG , then TOS, Then Voyager., the Enterprise. The Enterprise concept was a good thing, but it was not executed very well most of the time.

When I was young I absolutely loved the origianl Star Trek, there'd never been anything quite like it before and although I really loved Blake's 7 when it arrived, it really was a poor imitation in terms of special effects, sets and well everything really...
When Next Generation started I missed it first time round because I didn't think it would be any good. Then a friend started raving about it and I rented a couple on video and then I was hooked. I loved Next Gen, Captain Picard and his "make it so" and the fab Whoopie as Guinan. It was great. I enjoyed Voyager and to a point DS9 but they never captured my heart in quite the same way and gotta say (perhaps unfairly) I never gave Enterprise a chance.

My favourite episodes usually featured Q or the Borg but really any storyline for Next Gen was an enjoyable one, generally well scripted and well acted but fair amount of ham & cheesey moments included, you can't have a Star Trek without ham & cheesey moments. So for me it's Next Generation all the way. However, I suspect a lot of guys likely to vote for Voyager and the fabulous 7 of 9, can't think why?

I think Deep Space Nine is the most underrated star trek series ever, so that. Enterprise was ok to begin with but overall, My top two would be DSN and TNG.

Kirk was the best. He treated his starship as if it was his own personal cruise mobile and went through the galaxy solving the problems of civilizations and looking for babes. He was an old west hero with a starship. Gotta love the simplicity of the concept.

NextGen took the series in a different direction using more complex character development and a "kinder/gentler" view of the galaxy. The special effects were better, and the stories has more substance, but the raw energy was gone.

I never liked the original serious when I was a kid but when The Next Generation was released/shown during the eighties I liked it. I'm hoping that I can get all of them on DVD someday...when finances allow.

The only serious I have yet to see is Enterprise. I wasn't keen on DS9 or Voyager (so stopped watching after a few epsiodes) - I think they lack a great deal and, truly, when the shows were about to come to an end they decided to liven them up....real shame....it should've been done sooner

I grew up watching the original series so nothing can top that. But DS9 is a close second. It started off a little shaky, but they sorted things out and when they picked up the Dominion War storyline and it turned into a true series, where one episode picked up where the last one left off, I couldn't get enough.

voyager was the best one for me, although right now i am watching a re-run of star trek enterprise on sky two. I thought that deep space nine was a load of old tripe, sorry.

i like them all but thats the best i can do with a rank. ive seen almost every episode of all of them, except for enterprise... i just havent got into that one too much.
