Why don't you get full body stripes going down from your face to your toes. Make them black and white, so when Halloween comes round soon, all you will need to buy is a couple of fake ears and people will think you're a zebra.

Is there or has there been, a special event, memory, or person in or that happened in your life that has special enough meaning you would represent it for life on your body??? Perhaps a memorial? I'd stick with something I am sure not to change my mind about. As in not another persons name IF it stems from a partner, unless its a memorial.

My daughter and a friend got religious symbols. Her bf has sybols he and his 3 brothers created and all got together in reference to their brotherhood. He also has religious symbols across his lower back that are in the form of letter looking things. My son has a memorial of a friend he was close to and lost. Its on his upper arm.In which just a date or initals can be used. My husband just has a eye catching design.......actually a cover up but you'd never know it.

Once you have that picked out you can look at small representations of it and decide where you want it. Symbols can also work in place of words or pictures. If you go to MANY tatoo parlors you would have a more selective visual on their ideas as most offer different styles and types. Or create your own. Pictures are also possible. Just because you go lool other places doesn't mean you have to go elsewhere other than your friend. Its just for ideas.

If your friend does free hand work you should be able to take about anything appealing to you in to have drawn on.

Well all I can say is make sure you really like what you're getting, if you're doing letters, do your initials or something. I have 7 tattoos and I love them all, but the ones that were done without thinking first, I've already had redone or covered. Don't be too nice, either!! If you don't like what they put on you, don't let them go ahead and do it just because you feel bad to make them move it or change it. Remember, it's forever!!! Have fun!!!! Hopefully you'll love what you get done.

I love tattoos! But the way it sounds with you is that your not even ready to get one/another. You should never have to ask people what you should get cause tattoos should be meaning full.

Really think about about what your getting though. I have always wanted a tribal dragon done, but its still taking me over 4 years to decide.

Anyways, Good Luck!

I think a butterfly would be a great way to release some of those feelings and resemble what you have not only home through but what you have overcome . I'm thinking the butterfly colliding with something else , like Chinese words , a small quote .. this too shall pass .

you are in a situation which pretty much guarantees that you will hate your tattoo. maybe not immediately but eventually.

first of all do you even know if this friend of yours employs talented artists? second you don't know what you want yet you are getting something in the next couple of days? and you are thinking of maybe a trible dragon or something?

trust me. SKIP the tattoo for now because it's not something to be taken lightly. tattoos gotten on a whim are the ones that are hated later in life.

It sounds like you are not even close to ready to get a tatoo unless you are prepared to deal with a possible mistake with consequences.

Be smart and wait until you know what you want. Give the idea time to settle. What is the rush? You are talking about something permanent that you will most likely regret if you don't take the time.

Just be careful where u get the tattoos and what you get. When looking for employment they my not hire you because of the tattoos or offer you employment under the conditions of you removing or covering up.Be mindful on location of tattoos, you have to live with this. Good luck!!
