It's a Pentax K10D D-SLR, they're available in Australia but I'm saving a few hundred dollars if I grab this deal. Is possible for it to work here? I know we run on different voltages and whatnot, but is there stuff you can buy to correct that? How much would it cost extra for it? Would there be any problems charging the battery or transferring photos w/ USB?

I don't see why there would be a problem. First, just don't use the adapter - use batteries instead. USB is universal so transferring should not be a problem, either. I know that here, in the US, there are canadian versions floating around on ebay and people don't seem to have any issues (except warranty issues) with the Canadian models in the US. If you are unsure, call Pentax. Say you are moving to Australia from the US and want to make sure you don't need any adapters. They will tell you if there will be any issues you need to worry about.

If you buy the camera in the USA you will have NO warranty coverage in Australia. By the time you pay import taxes and duties and shipping how much will you really save? Is it worth it to have no warranty coverage? You decide.

I like your choice of cameras.
