Do you struggle with lust, sex, and judgement? I struggle with it daily and wondered if I was the only one, because that is what it feels like. I pray daily for the strength to control it and that helps.

we all struggle in this life even Paul wrote in Romans 7:11-25 talks about sin and how it affects us.

Paul said O wretched man am I who can deliver me from this body of death. His answer Jesus Christ.

Grace and mercy

this does not give us the green light to keep on sinning as in Romans 6:1-2 says

1) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

by walking in the spirit we will not fulfil the lusts of the body
and there is another verse that says resist the devil and he will flee from you.

It happens a lot, I have friends that struggle with pornography. A wise man told them to take out the things in your life that make you think of lusting. So some took out the porn. Then the movies with the rating of "R - for Strong Sexual content and Nudity" because they knew it would bring back those feelings. I used to be in the same boat. It's hard bro, but the best thing I ever did was to pray and take the first step by not looking at it anymore.

"if your eye offends you blot it out" it says that in The Bible. It means that anything that is in your sight that causes you to sin even mentally, take it out of your life. Keep yourself in check.
Another thing that I've done is a habit of saying to myself, "ok right now I could be praying or thinking about sex," that makes me want to pray. Sometimes I ignore it, but then come right back to God and ask Him to forgive me. Plus I read more of the Word then I ever did before in my life. The more of that I put in my brain, the less I have a desire for Lust, sex, and that sort of thing.

It helps to have other activities that will divert your mind away from it.

Hope this helps

Yes, especially if you live where I live.

I live next to the Unversity of Wisconsin-Madison, & with those college girls, I have to deal with lust all the time, especially the way that some of them dress.

But we MUST remember God's word in this:

Adultery
27"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'[a] 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

God will help us, but we must ask for it.

I struggle with lust the most. I would have to say it's the devil's favorite weapon, but our prayer can beat him. Keep on praying bro, and stay close to your brothers and sisters in Christ. They will help you get through this.

Yes, the flesh will cry out. But we are told in Paul to follow the Spirit. We are told not to Server Satan.

Being a true Christian is a battle, we have to wait until Jesus returns so it can be shown who we really are in Christ.

God Bless.

The best way to help it is to focus on the root of the problem, not just covering it up with prayers and strength - that's mere suppression and will only make things worse. It's probably why a lot of priest diddle children versus Buddhist monks who can understand the "why" behind it.

Yes

Romans 7 reads that I do what I dont want to do and I dont do what I should do. How true is that for us all?
Who can save us from this wretchedness?! Only God

Romans 8 tells us to walk with the Spirit

Nothing that marriage, children, hard work, and prayer can't handle.

Try it.

It's a different kind of struggle, but the rewards are great.

Of course! Though it does get easier the older you get. Your drive isn't the same in your 40s as it was in your 20s. Note I said easiER, I don't think it will ever be easy. Be strong.

And Lo! God graced thee with hormones and a mind, and didst command thee not to use them. Thou wert forced to cut of thy right hand so that thou mightst not sin against thy flesh. Thou gougest out thine own eye that thou mightst not commit the sin of covetuousness. And now, thou art poor and maimed in body yet cleansed in mind and soul. Amen.
