Okay, so I am currently working at Wal-Mart as a Pharmacy Clerk!! I have an interview today for a Tech postion! I am a little worried that someone else will get my job!! I guess it policy to interview at least 3 other people to be fair!! So anyway what should be prepared for and what should I wear? Should I wear my uniform colors since I already work there??? HELP the interview is in 5 hours!

I was told by one of the technicans that has worked there that I shouldn't worry because I know the system already...I just don't have authority to fill or input the prescription information...is she just trying to make me feel better??

Assuming normal corporate practices, you should be given priority over the other candidates. Most companies have rules that you must interview x number of candidates for a position. I would wear standard interview clothes, and just say I work at Wal-Mart already.

I would wear your uniform or your best business clothes. It is probably policy but the person with the most experience (especially with Wal-Mark store policies) will most likely beat out someone from off of the street with no cred. Good luck and don't be nervous.

Yes wearing you uniform is fine. and try to take a pill or something before going in there. dont' worry they know you work there. they want to know if you can explain your portable skills to them. for example can you transfer the things you have learned in the phamacy to the tech job you desire. if you can do that, then this interview will be a piece of cake. Good Luck!

Well, it's really not your job yet. You have the same chance as anybody who applies for the position. Go to the interview as professional as possible. Be prepared to answer questions about why you're right for the job. Good luck.
