I wonder about that too. I say "on" the sandwich, because I am the builder, stacking one upon the other.

If I was making a grinder, I would put things "in" it.

Father Al's sandwich does sound good.

I have decided on toasted potato bread, mayo on one, dijon on the other. Then, on the mayo side, sliced tomato, Viginia ham, Romaine lettuce, crisp bacon, dill pickle, provolone...

Ta-dah!

Let's eat!

And...Art & Marty's Black Pepper Chips!

Who's coming by for lunch!

On or in? I like German dark wheat bread, mayonaise thinly sliced FRESH deli turkey, then ham, hard salami or cappicola, Muenster cheeses, baby Swiss cheese, thin sliced onion, tomato, meclun baby lettuce, and Dijon mustard. Serve it up with a pilsener of hefeweizen (making sure to decant with the yeast), and a quarter of large Kosher dill pickle.

Good, It's just now noon. I'll go make one.

[Mmmm! Ein prosit!]

What I love on a sandwich is the roasted red pepper strips that come in a jar. They make the sandwich moist and add a nice flavor. They're also good on hamburgers. Sliced dill pickles are also nice.

Pickles & yellow mustard! Oh, I forgot to ask, what is the chosen meat? That goes well with Lebanon baloney, or reg baloney, but Turkey may require mayo, & still the pickle!

Ham, salami, pepperoni, shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, and plenty of provolone. Oh yeah, a russian or thousand island dressing. I'm going to order one now. If I gain weight, it's your fault.

Double chunk peanut butter 1/2 inch thick, leaf lettuce 1/2 inch thick, and Miracle whip, (enough to be sloppy).
