The place where He speaks is your heart...or conscience. He always deals with your heart or the REAL YOU. So much of today is about hiding who you really are(even in the church) and pretending to be this ideal person you have seen. God always deals with who you are. He is righteousness but people have a hard time receiving this because they never know that they need His goodness or righteousness. They go about establishing their own righteousness and it is always based on a lie because the Bible says that their is no one righteous. They have never dealt with who they really are so they can never come to repentence and receive the gift of goodness that is only from God.. GOD ALMIGHTY IS GOODNESS, MERCY AND TRUTH and He is speaking to your heart right now.

Don't try looking for a communication link, it does not exist. And who said someone created the universe? I thought it was brought up by natural cause and effect.

If god does exist, he does not seem to take much interest in us. Seems to just let things roll the way they are as if he was not here. Why would ever want to communicate, or worship for that matter, such a being?

Oh c'mon, you should know the answer to that.

God is just beside you, summon up your courage and speak with Him.Prayer is a temporary cure for people who do not have that intimacy with God.

When you are truly in the light, when you speak or chat with God,you no longer need the prayer for you are able to talk to Him with the closeness of a father who has raised for many years or a close friend who has been by your side for all your days.

God Bless.

Prayer...Get on your knees.
Or anywhere.
You can talk to God, as if He was a friend. Prayer don't have to be a something you do just at bedtime. Talk to God anytime...seriously, if I couldn't have conversation with God anytime I wanted, my quality of life wouldn't be the same. When I can unload my cares upon God and really believe He is there for me, it changes the way I do things. It calms the spirit. God Bless.

Actually, God Almighty was so concerned about this very question, that He made it His business to get in contact with you.
You've heard of Him...His name is Jesus. His line is open...all you have to do is pray.

(I like James' answer...you can talk to Him any time. I call it "praying", but if James wishes to call it something else, that's fine. The end result is the same...we are both talking to our Father...)

Jesus
Hebrews 4 describes him as our high priest:

13Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Anybody can communicate with God through prayer. It doesn't matter where you are or who you are, God will here you. God has a connection to us like a parent to a child.

You just talk to Him. Its called prayer. He talks to us through His Word, the Bible and through Godly men and women. If you develop a relationship with Him He will speak to you.

Nothing direct(for security and administrative reasons)but always through the managers of authorized outlets like a priest,Mullah and their equivalents in other religions.
