I would pick a different name for the child and use that as a pet name for the kid. My one sister is named Jacqueline and my parents call her Mush and my other sister Alicia they call Boo-E... I won't even tell you mine, but my boyfriend calls me Kate Monster (like in Avenue Q)

Give the child a name he/she can live with outside the home for all his/her life. Then at home, if you want to call your child Curry Monster, or Cookie Monster, or whatever - go ahead.
But do NOT legally name the child that. If you do, no court will convict him when he strangles you later in life.

No, it's not wrong. It's just really weird because Monster doesn't sound cute at all. When you hear monster, most people think of something ugly and scary. But then, I do know of a girl who changed her name to Monster.

Dearest Alex,
It seems like you are very passionate about first names. But I admit this will raise a few eyebrows (including mine). I am a fan of hyphenated names also, but this one seems rather outrageous. I am not just talking about Monster, I am talking about Curry also.
Please don't go through with it!
Kate

That is not 'so wrong' if your naming your first child like that. since you are the parent.. you'll have the freewill and legal claims to do that. Consider your husband/wife's opinion if you are married... Consider also the future of your kid being called 'Curry-Monster'.. its either he'll/she'll love it or hate it... and as parents we are empowered to prophesy over our children and bless them. The name we give them both prophesies and speaks blessings to them as well. ü

If you want your child to be teased, ridiculed, bullied, and criticized for life then go ahead. The child will have no self-respect of dignity, and probably end up in jail at some point.
If you are a loving and supportive parent, please choose a better name.
