Suicide bombers take sections of the Quran and twist them out of context to benefit them. They think that they're allowed to do what they're doing.

Peace? And they want to chop off our heads? Right. Jehid is alive and well.
And THIS is why the suicide bombers are still doing it--they are under orders from Islam and I don't give a damn what their leaders try to tell the free world. Those nut cases BELIEVE their garbage and they are still preaching that it is a good thing to bomb Americans and everything that we stand for. Suicide bombers are simply the grossest symbol of their . . . "religion?" I've never understood how anybody with a lick of sense in their heads could believe that God, or Allah or Jewah or whatever you want to call the Supreme Being, would in any way condone death and/or violence of ANY people of the world. How can anyone believe that a true and loving God would tell anybody to go out and kill other human beings, His own creation?

When ALL of the clergy stop promising 72 virigins in Paradise for Islamic martyrs, and stop calling blowing yourself up and a schoolbusful of Israeli children "martyrdoom" and call it what it is: murder, we'll see the end of suicide bombings.
The Al-Quran especially forbids suicide and threatens dire punishments in Hell for those who take this route similar to murderers of others.
Terrorism really starts in the Mosques and the Madrassas. If the Muslim clergy stopped teaching this BS to young impressionable young men, this terrorism nonsense would stop immediately. Nothing in the Al-Quran supports such an abomination as the suicide bombing of innocent civilians. Nothing! Nothing in the Hadith or Shariya teaches this BS as well.
Evil clergy corrupt impressionable Muslim youth, who jobless and uneducated find their lives literally not worth living and all this crap about 72 virgins in Paradise sounds rather captivating!
It starts with the clergy. They are to blame. When they start teaching tolerance and moderation, Islam will become as it once was, one of the most tolerant and enlightened religion in the world, and not what it is today, a barbaric murderous hate-filled creed that blasphemes Allah and insults Muhammed. Think about it. You know I'm right, be you Muslim or any other faith.

I think suicide bombers are doing it because they don't have much choice to fight back against occupying super power. If people lost their home, homeland, relatives, future and almost everything, they surely will lost their interest to live.
I can't imagine in how much pain people decide to be a suicide bomber !
It is not related with peoples religion or Islam.
It is related with evil politics.
Suicide bombers are not only exist in Palestine or Iraq, they are active in srilanka and Ireland too.

As with any religion, different people have different interpretations or point of view. At times, religions split based on what are considered by the splitting group as "a fundamental difference of opinion".
An example of this? The Catholic Church says that divorce is a no-no. King Henry was Catholic and wanted a divorce, and the church said "no". So what did he do? Make his own church where divorce was allowed.
In the case of Islam, the difference of opinion seems to be in how the term Jihad is interpreted.
--
From Wikipedia:
The term Jihad used without any qualifiers is generally understood to be referring to war on behalf of Islam. Within Islamic jurisprudence Jihad is the only form of warfare permissible under Islamic law, and may be declared against apostates, rebels, highway robbers, violent groups, unIslamic leaders or military exertion against non-Muslim combatants but there are other ways to perform jihad as well including civil disobedience. In broader usage and interpretation, the term has accrued both violent and non-violent meanings. It can imply striving to live a moral and virtuous life, spreading and defending Islam as well as fighting injustice and oppression, among other things.
--
That being said, different groups look at Jihad in different ways.
I am not an expert on this matter, and I doubt there is "one" answer to your question, but I would ask you to read the information at Wikipedia (see the link below) as a place to start. There are several listed interpretation by major groups in Islam on what Jihad means to them, and what Jihad as warfare.

If Christianity says not to judge others, than why do we have the death penalty? It's all interpretation. There are passages in both the Bible, and Koran, that if taken out of context, justify our actions. An example of this are passages on Martyrdom that the media seems to like to hi light (something about anyone who dies as a martyr automatically gets into heaven). Just as Christians say "an eye for an eye".

it depends how far you take Islam... the bombers think that they are doing the right thing and everyone else is not practicing Islam to the best he can while most Muslims think it's not right. in Saudi Arabia, you can get your hand cut off for stealing... according to their book it's the right thing to do but still other countries in the middle east don't do that.

Fanaticism. People will always bend ideas and beliefs to serve their own needs. Just as Oklahoma City bombing was carried by an American who believed he was a patriot.
Some people will always hid behind the veil of righteousness and religion to advance their own agenda, even though their actions may be contrary to the core ideals of the religion.

their is a cult that has been following islam since the beginning they slauter people unjustly for the strangest crimes like in Muhameds time they would walk into a group that had traveled away from mecca and a man awoke toto find the throtes cut on everyone around him and his head was the only one pointing toward mecca . These people are dangerous fanataics they will spare your life for the strangest reasons. and kill you for miner infractions in social etiquette, but you don't really know who they are until they let you know.
A normal muslim fears these types and avoids them as best they can. For fear of being seen as not a muslim by your fanatic unkown who might be anyone

Just as in every religion, there are a lot of different interpretations. Islam is no different. mainstream Islam condemns terrorism but lunatic fringe groups like the Wahabis promote it.
Sad but true
