i have written what i think is a brilliant recipe book from an individual and unusual stand point, the problem is that i have no idea what to do with it i would love for it to be published but am worried about showing it to anyone in case they pinch my idea, so how can i approach publishers etc while still protecting my idea

Try www.morriscookbooks.com. They'll be able to answer questions about recipe-stealing and copywriting and such. I think they're who I'm going to use.

Publish it yourself for now.

You can make spiral bound books at any office supply store such as staples or office depot. You can also try selling your cook books on the internet or to your friends and family by word or mouth.

I doubt you would be able to get hooked up with a publisher and just start making cookbooks. You are just some random person. You know what I mean? It takes a lot of money.

I would do it myself if I were you. Good luck. And I'm interested in your cook book. Can you give up a recipe so we know what it's like?

You could have a look at getting it patented first before you approach a publishing company, If your in the UK here is a link for you http://www.ipo.gov.uk/

Good luck with it, hope you do really well!!!

Look into having your book copywrited, or at least your recipies, that way if anyone did use your ideas you would have made them yours and they would be in trouble. Good luck.x
