Anyway, Jesus on Earth was a Levite and did obey the Mosaic laws, one of which concerned hair, beard, and body markings.
Leviticus 19:27, "I forbid you to shave any part of your head or beard or to cut and tattoo yourself as a way of worshiping the dead. "

Hmmm...that's a tough one Zilla! Maybe he just had a really, REALLY crappy stylist and so he refused to give the guy any decent references in the Bible...
