In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings

Is this a serious question or troll bait?
The Bible says hell is a place of flame and eternal torment....like burning forever, but never getting relief from the pain. The devil won't be in charge, he will be burning and suffering too. You can read the picture of hell that Jesus painted in Luke 16:19-31. Just like the rich man, everyone who has ever gone to hell would come back or send someone if they could to tell you please don't end up like them. The saddest thing is that people can't or won't understand that it's not about being naughty or nice, it's about whether or not you have accepted Jesus as your Savior. No one is good enough to get to heaven on their own merit, and no one is so bad that Jesus can't save them from hell if they repent and believe.
I don't miss one thing about the sinful lifestyle I lived when I was out of the fellowship of the Lord, and I don't believe for a minute that all the "naughty" people out there are really happy---(Britney, Lindsey, and Paris come to mind)
Please ask more questions, or seek out spriritual guidance where you live if you are serious....don't rely just on what you read on here or you will surely be deceived and confused.
I'm praying for you.

The devil needs to damage your existence any way he can. He would not supply a crap about you, and likes to work out you fail. So why could he reward you? isn't spending eternity in hell faraway from the Lord sufficient? I recommend in the journey that your doing the Devils paintings, then you actually hate God, so hiya, you are able to spend eternity with him.

First of all, the devil was formerly an angel God created but rebelled because he wanted all the worship for himself...which rightly only belongs to God. There is no such thing as hell...hades is the common grave of mankind. When someone dies, they are conscious of nothing at all...until Armageddon when ones will be judged and ones will have the hope of receiving life forever on a paradise earth. Nowhere in the bible does it mention a hellfire where humans are tormented forever.

Hell is quite literally the eternal separation from God.
Interpretations of what Hell is like vary. There Is the Hell of the Old Testament which wasn't quite the same as eternal damnation, but was where those who passed away were held in reserve for the time of Jesus resurrection.
Hell from your perspective is the ultimate place of despair after the Final Judgement.
Probably the most famous classical interpretation of Hell can be found in the book Dante's Inferno

They sure do, some evil people have the whole world cheering them on.
Nope, they are not allowed to be "naughty" any more. Then they will know from God Almighty Himself that the powers they messed with were far to greater than what they are worth.
Hell for a evil person who has lived life here on earth, is all the things they never in their wildest dreams thought they would end up.

When a person goes to hell they are spirit. They are not physical and are held there to think of what they have done in this life. We don't know what you can or cannot do in hell but, knowing that you are spirit there then that leaves no room for physical activity. Secondly, when God resurrects the persons body at the final judgment the person will be back in their body and cast into the lake of fire where they can feel it.

Since I am not god, and frankly no one else on earth is either, I'm not completely qualified to answer your question, nor is anyone else. However, I will give you the answer most commonly interpreted from the bible.
The bible states that hell is basically being completely removed from the presence of God. It also states that God is Love. That last bit is a literal translation. Hence, hell is the total absence of gods light and love, and all feelings and emotions that derive from love, leaving nothing but hatred abd bitterness and loneliness.

No one knows for sure what hell will be, since no one has died, been there, and come back to life. However, if you want to make sure you don't have to go there, give your heart to God and live the best life you can-- ask forgiveness when you do something wrong, and do good for others. Building a relationship with God and asking for forgiveness when you do wrong are two important keys to not going to Hell.

You can experience Hell. Do you want to? It is easy. It is better to experience it and come back to tell the people here. But don't expect them to believe you. Only you knows it for you have been there.
You wouldn't like it. It is a horrible place, they said. The Bible say it is filled with fire and brimstones. There you will be roasted again and again.
Before you are tempted to say "yes, quick, take me there" because of your folly, let it begin here first, let you take the things the world have to offer you, then you can wish God to take you to Hell.
