A lot of people balk at the mention of ghosts, esp. and other paranormal phenomena. I can understand people not believing in this but what I have trouble understanding are the religious and or spiritual people that balk at this.

Do you believe in paranormal phenomena (e.g. ghosts and esp) and are you religious and or spiritual? Also what are your reasons?

I agree that it is real but I think most of it is runaway imagination.

This leads skeptics to discount all of it.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I believe in extra-normal phenomena. I believe that there are natural laws that we haven't the tools to perceive yet, and the fact that we do not have any information on these other six dimensions is enough to make them paranormal.
We're a primitive species, our race is only 6000 years old, (I'm only counting since the dawn of agriculture and communities) we're hardly very evolved, but our tools and communities have helped us do things that man, in his infancy, should not be able to do, see, or understand. This will undoubtedly become more pronounced as time goes on.

There are a hundred explanations for "paranormal phenomena," any one of which makes more sense than the traditional. For example, emotionally excited people hallucinate. If people expect to see something unusual, it's likely they will. And so on.

I'm not religious, by the way; in fact, I'm an atheist; but I'm very "spiritual."

Oddly sufficient some human beings chosen "ALL categories". which potential they don't bypass into your area your area involves them. that's how I initially discovered this question. that's annoying to pay attention people who consult with scientists as close minded turn around and decrease value solutions in line with definitely data or lack thereof. technology does not have the solutions for each thing and that's a actuality. in spite of the shown fact that, that doesn't advise you may basically slap the label "magic" on something we don't at the instant have an evidence for. Making issues up is making issues up. it is your organization in case you opt to be intellectually lazy, yet once you bypass off your ideals as fact to the generic public and slap psuedo medical language, names, and titles on issues it is going from 'previous formed' to truly offensive.
