Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

1 c peanut butter
1 c brown sugar (can substitute granulated sugar)
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg

Combine all ingredients and roll into walnut-sized balls. Place onto a well greased baking pan and press with the tines of a fork to make a criss-cross pattern. Bake in a preheated oven (350°) for 8-10 minutes, unti cookies are lightly browned. these burn easily so watch them carefully. Cool a couple of minutes before removing them from the pan.

OPTIONAL: You can add a cup or so of M&M's or chocolate chips if you want.

Not trying to cop here but here is a link to all different kinds, I've often used the one called Jiff Peanut Butter Cookies, of course you don't have to use the brand name ingredients they list.
