My mom doesn't feel anything except that if you touch the lump, its a little bit painful. The lump is hard and she will undergo biopsy twodays from now. I want to know if salivary gland cancer is curable? How much is the percentage of living or survival in this type of cancer?

Your mom should see a doctor about it. It really all depends on what type of lump or what type of cancer this is.

There are some types of cancer that are "benign". That is to say, they do not tend to spread and invade, and they just stay in the one place. These types of cancers are very easily curable. An operation to take it our usually removes the whole thing and they very rarely come back.

Another type of cancer is "malignant". This is the type that spreads and invades. This would be a bad type to have but can be cured if caught early enough. The tricky thing with salivary gland cancers is that there are a lot of blood and lymph channels in the head and neck area and malignant cancers in the head and neck region tend to spread early. Nearly 10% (1 in 10) will show some form of spread at the time of diagnosis.
