Why yes, yes I have. And as a side note, Storm from the X-Men has a god-son named Anansi, who is also a mutant. Anansi was also used in the animated series, Gargoyles, in an episode where Goliath, Angela, and that Spanish chick went to Africa. Anansi was the villian, I think he was eating people in their sleep.

There are tons of childrens books about anansi. Great moprals and frequently used in elementary schools

Wasn't he some kind of spider? I had a story book entitled "Anansi the Spider" full of stories about this spider that could travel to visit the gods.
